68) Convince K to go see a drama

Sometimes we forget how easily we can change another person’s life with just a word, a smile, or a silly question. Sometimes things seem so inconsequential to us, but seem like a momentous occasion to others. A week of ignoring is actually a week of reflection for another. The past several days I’m realizing how much of an effect I can have on others by using something as simple as my voice.

Bertie: Listen to me!! Listen to me!!
Lionel: Why should I waste my time listening to you?
Bertie: Because I have a voice!
Lionel: Yes you do.

If you’ve browsed passed The King’s Speech for other fancier movies out like Black Swan or Tangled, I think you should take a step back and watch this movie. For me the above was the most inspiring part of the movie, that made my heart and soul leap in bounds and it still does every time I go back and watch the trailer. I’m a true believer that everyone has a voice, but more importantly it doesn’t matter who you are, what you believe in, you have the right to speak it.

  1. K says:

Definitely a good movie. I’d watch it again, and that’s saying something with how much I generally avoid dramas.
