Friday Finds – Natural Colours

I can’t believe it’s Friday, I had plans to post some blogs this week, but yet here we are again at another Friday Finds. Eek!

It started off with a quick glance and a slight ‘ooo that is pretty’ that got me going with this weeks Friday Finds theme. Something about natural sandy/earthy colours that just makes me want to take a bubble bath, listen to my nature soundtrack of the beach, and just relax. Maybe this weeks colour palette will inspire you to do something to de stress yourself.

a) Pretty Birdie by Stephanie Teague – The dress that started it all, I love how they photographed it.
b) Katinka Pinka – Old keys like this remind me of The Secret Garden, what does your key open?
c) 3squares Handcrafted Jewlery – “In that case, I’ll have a croque-monsieur, a paella, two mutton pills, and a stein of mead.” — Professor Hubert Farnsworth (Futurama)
d) Bailey Doesn’t Bark – I thoroughly enjoyed going through her “Ants on my…’ collection
e) Blu’bies – Have you ever seen a cute possum stuffy as this? Her line of Australian stuffies are adorable.
f) popcorn tree – I’m really intrigued by their burn technique.
g) Berrie Good Stuff – I wish I could be somewhere with sunny beaches
h) Urban Pink Photography – This beach photograph is one of the more intriguing ‘actioned’ I’ve seen.
i) mquin – How about a cute simple skirt as this? (warning her shop is closed as she’s on vacation)

Loving Life + Food on the Westcoast

In a society dominated by technology and fast food, our culture has lost our sense of adventure, to take that leap of faith to explore and try new things even when it comes to food. My intention is to promote a healthy lifestyle between helping our planet through sustainable means and using local food with fewer preservatives. + MORE
