Plants of Hawaii

I was feeling a little nostalgic last week as I went through all my photos picking out the ones I wanted to print in a book (it’s for my SEEDS presentation). I went to Hawaii in 2007 during the middle of my classes at BCIT. It was one of those places that I’ve heard so much about and I had such a huge image of what it would be like in my mind that I don’t think I really enjoyed the trip and loved it for what it was until I got home. I then realized how gorgeous it is and how I enjoyed swimming in the ocean, I really want to go there again with some girlfriends – hint hint, you know who are.

The trip happened before Flickr or my blog so I’m going to share them here over the next few days, starting with some gorgeous plants. The first one is one of my favourite images of all.

My intention is to promote a healthy lifestyle between helping our planet through sustainable means and using local food with fewer preservatives. + MORE
