A Passion for Produce

Gray skies, light drops of rain, wonderful company, and excellent … produce? Maybe it’s the foodie in me, but one thing that inspires me and gets me all giddy is good produce. I love going to Farmers Market and scouring the shelves, booths and baskets for all interesting things. I love the rich colours and the homey touches of jams, honeys and other sorted homemade crafts.

Today I went to get produce and came out with interesting things like Gray Zucchini Squash and Icicle Radishes and with the soft light falling into the room, I just had to take up my camera and take some photos, even Neala came out to help! It also reminded me that I need to go searching for new food equipment, ie old spoons and cutting boards. Trip to the antique vintage store? I think so.
