Plugged In

I hate the term like I hate the fact that it applies so easily to me. I like to call myself a nature person. Enjoying the outdoors, the mountains, the hiking, camping – all those ‘nature granola’ things. I embrace it. But the fact is – and I’m scared to type it because typing it will make it a reality – but I spend more time attached to the computer then I do outdoors. Cue the sheepish grin.

I think part of me lives through reading other people’s adventures. Miss planned party? Yes please! Photo shoot with colleagues? Oooh so jealous! Sleeping for 12 hours? I wish!

I was gone for several days with the move and during the time I was away from the computer I didn’t miss it, but when I came back online and saw all the blogs, emails etc I missed, I became a little homesick and guilt, like I missed out on my Best Friend’s Birthday.

But I’m back, baby! And with our warmer winter, a new place, hopefully I can combine both worlds – like sitting outside while I enjoy reading all the twitter tidbits about people ;)

And I know I missed Friday Finds yesterday – so here is a little peak of my addiction. Now if only I could find someone living in Italy who could send it to me.

ps. This is what I get for posting right before bed – Nutella is my addiction, these snack packs aren’t in Canada, I believe they are only in Italy? Unfortunately I don’t know who took the original photo, so if anyone does please tell me, I would love to source them. :)

Loving Life + Food on the Westcoast

In a society dominated by technology and fast food, our culture has lost our sense of adventure, to take that leap of faith to explore and try new things even when it comes to food. My intention is to promote a healthy lifestyle between helping our planet through sustainable means and using local food with fewer preservatives. + MORE
