Big Yawn

Some days I wish I could just lay in bed, curled up in white comforters, enjoying the sunshine pouring in. Wouldn’t it be nice to be a cat, with only a few things to worry about, like when you will be fed, and where did that juicy bug go last night. Sometimes I wish I could be six again, running through the grass, laughing, picking up a drool-drenched ball to throw for the dogs. When I take a tumble, I can just go running to Daddy for a hug.

Unfortunately those, days are gone. I have more then just one little worry in my head, to the point I wonder how long it’s going to take before it explodes. So many things to do, that it would be a waste of paper to write it all done. Decisions on what to let go, and what to keep. I wish I could make it all go away, but a part of me nags, ‘Where is the fun in that?’ Instead I’ll splurge myself in days where I can just curl up in a white comforter and enjoy listening to the million raindrops outside.

Loving Life + Food on the Westcoast

In a society dominated by technology and fast food, our culture has lost our sense of adventure, to take that leap of faith to explore and try new things even when it comes to food.
